When Aed shock is given to person then the blood moves through the complete body, provide oxygen through body and brain and extent the heart electrical activity. Time is very critical factor in making the difference between life and death. If you don’t get the defibrillator shock on time then in five to six minutes, there is a possibility that damage of brain occurs and in ten minutes heart will not fibrillate and responsible for death and shows flat line. As if there is no electrical activity in heart then chances of survival almost zero. It is always good to use defibrillator at home to give instant shock and trained with its use to utilize it properly and save the life of your loving one and also people at public places.

There are lot of models of Automated External Defibrillators available with minor differences and all the devices gives instructions that are designed for use by a non-medical professional but good to train for effective use. The AED will decide if the victim needs a shock and will then guide you through the rescue with verbal cues via pictures or written text.
